The history of the mill of Trades is related to those of two families. The owners BOYER or BOYER, lords with Trades on the one hand, and of the MORIN family, long line of millers who exploited it, without interruption of 1736 to 1895 in one to other hand. The construction of the mill of Trades is undoubtedly former to the XVIIème century.
The oldest document that one knows is a copy of the ground declaration for the Beaujolais wine made by Mr. Archambaud of BOYER, lord of Trades, June 30, 1688.
